SEA CRUISES














General Information

    * Bookings are made per boat charter, from 6 passengers to 40 passengers if hiring both boats.
    * Bookings are also available for couples or smaller parties on non-exclusive trips. The rate depends on the number of people in your party.

    * There is a minimum of a 2 night stay but the ideal number of nights is 3.
    * If you decide to book a week-end, you must book both the Friday and the Saturday.
    * To accommodate smaller groups, there is a mid-week rate from 1 – 6 persons (Sunday to Thursday).
    * Day Cruises are also available. Maximum no. of passengers is 100 people.
    * Due to safety, it is recommended that children under 8 years old stay at home.

    * A dietary requirement and a preferred drinks list will be sent to you on reservation so that we may cater to your specific requirements.

Where To Board? :

    * You leave your vehicles in the safe parking area at the Shayamoya Tiger Fishing and Game Lodge, from where you are transferred by Quantum or Iveco Bus through the Pongola Nature Reserve to the water's edge, where the Shayamanzi staff will meet you and escort you onto the Houseboat.

Day Of Arrival :

    * Your transfer departs from Shayamoya Tiger Fishing & Game Lodge (North of the Pongola River, on the road to Golela/Swaziland border post) at 14h00.
    * Due to the operations schedule, the times for check in/out are not flexible.
    * A penalty fee is charged for any late arrivals @ R250.00 p/p

Lunch :

    * On the day of arrival, lunch is either served at Shayamoya Lodge or on board the Houseboat.
    * During the cruise days, lunch is light affair.

Set Sail :

    * Shayamanzi cruises off for her evening mooring and passengers are free to enjoy the afternoon's activities of game viewing and tiger fishing once the houseboat has moored.

Dinner :

    * Dinner is served at 19h30.

Breakfast :

    * Each day, a continental style breakfast is offered from early in the morning, with a hearty brunch served at 10h30.
    * This is followed by tea and homemade cakes, lunch and bar snacks in the afternoon.
Day Of Departure :

    * The Captain will arrange your drinks and activities account, which is to be settled back at Shayamoya lodge on departure either by cash or credit card.
    * Departure time from the Houseboat is 10h00.

Activities :

    * Subject to availability, the following land activities can be arranged from Shayamanzi.
    * Game Drives @ R300 p/p
    * Rhino Walks @ R250 p/p
    * Elephant Tracking @ R350 p/p
